The family clan members from Quitriche-en-Auvergne once again have decided to turn their backs on potato fields, barns and chicken crap. As “Les Quitriche” they truly want the world to hear their finest selection of French beat from the sixties, their most charming pop songs and a number of self-made songs.
Their newly produced album called “La récolte”, eagerly awaited by their fans, was recorded up in the rough Swabian Mountains next to their current residence in Stuttgart, Germany. The results are 14 Gainsbourg-Bardot-styled masterpieces of the “Sixties-Beat français”.
They are dealing with “The whole French youth on LSD-25”, “The Opium Dream” and other facts of life. By the way the eyes also get spoiled by an extraordinary monty-pythonesque cover art which has no equal.
Agricultural experts and stock breeders all agree that “Les Quitriche” without doubt is heading for an abundantly, rich harvest.
